Population Genetics | Evolutionary Genomics

Andrés del Castillo
Undergraduate Student (BSc)
Computational Mathematics

Andrés is interested in employing mathematical modeling and computer simulations/programming to study extensive genetic variation within and between human populations, and how such variation translates to relationships between natural selection and genomic adaptation throughout history. He is also interested in combining deep learning AI with human genomic data to elucidate and optimize the linking of complex gene expression to phenotypic traits.
